The Remodelers and Custom Builders Council of the Maryland Building Industry Association announced the winners of its annual Remodeling and Custom Building Award of Excellence competition on December 16, 2021 at Turf Valley Resort.
FULTON, MD - DECEMBER 17, 2021 - The MBIA Remodeling and Custom Building Awards of Excellence Program recognizes remodeling designs, new custom homes and industry professionals who provide customers with superior and creative projects that are sensitive to the existing structure and make appropriate use of the existing building elements, while being compatible with the neighborhood.
"These award winners are examples of the creativity and talent in our industry," said Lori Graf, CEO of the Association. “The projects range from small bathroom remodels to whole-house custom construction and we are proud to showcase their work,” she added.
An evaluation team that consisted of building industry professionals from around the Baltimore Metropolitan area rated all entries. The criteria used to judge the entries included: quality of construction, degree of difficulty, value and cost effectiveness and unique and creative design approach. The awards are an annual opportunity for members to gain professional recognition and credibility. The competition is open to all MBIA Remodelers and Custom Builder Council members who have completed projects meeting category requirements.
